Services
Hello! I am Julie Biehl, owner of Julie's Imprinting. I have been in
business in Bow, NH, since November 2000. Since then, I have
personalized hundreds of scrapbook albums. Imprinting is a process that
uses heat and pressure to create a permanent foil imprint on an item.
Being an avid scrapbooker myself, I wanted a way to know exactly what
memories were inside each of my albums. Imprinting is the perfect way to
add that personal touch to an album cover, back or spine. As of
March 2008, Julie’s Imprinting now offers five font types, over 120
graphics and more than 35 foil colors. With so many choices, everyone
can find a way to enhance their albums or the pages inside them!

When I began my business, I imprinted almost
exclusively on Creative Memories scrapbook albums. Since then, so many
other brands have been introduced to scrapbookers and many of you have
asked, “Do some albums imprint better than others?” YES!! Here
are a few of the brands that I have found to imprint well: Creative
Memories, Colorbok Perfect, Dalee, Die Cuts with a View, Forever Yours,
Generations, Kolo Linen & Mrs. Grossman. As a general rule, most
tapestry, denim or waxy/vinyl albums do not imprint well. If you have a
question about a specific brand of album, please call or email before
shipping your order.
Flex Plates are recommended for album surfaces that are too textured
(tapestry and denim), too slick (waxy) or too soft (usually vinyl) for
consistent, optimal imprinting directly on these albums or surfaces. A
Flex Plate is a thin, flexible, self-adhesive plate available in a
variety of sizes in brushed gold or silver. Black foil is used to
imprint on flex plates. The pricing for imprinting text or graphics on a
flex plate is the same as the pricing for imprinting on an album.
I also imprint on many other items such as napkins, photo frame mats,
Christmas cards, folded notes, stationery and photos. These items
